I want to help but how do I donate?
First, we at Moose Charities want to thank you for your kindness and generosity. Donating to this project will help to ensure that we are able to continually care for our children. There are several ways you can donate to the program. Please review the following suggestions and if there are any questions please contact Moose Charities at 630-966-2200. Ways to Give…
1. At the state. regional, provincial, or international convention you can visit the Moose Charities booth and donate using cash, check, or charge. If there is no Moose Charities booth ask to see your Association’s Moose Charities Committee Chairperson. They may accept your donation and issue you a receipt. Please, expect a thank you note and IRS proof of donation in several weeks from the date of your donation.
2. You can mail Moose Charities cash or a check at any time. Please send donations to: Moose Charities, 155 S International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539.
3. Call Moose Charities at 630-966-2200 and donate by providing credit card or debit card information over the phone.
4. Visit the Moose Charities website at www.moosecharities.org and make a secure online donation.
5. Fill out the attached form to sign up for direct debit. You can drop the form off at the Moose Charities booth at International Convention or you can mail the form to Moose Charities at Moose Charities, 155 S International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539.
Important Things to Know!!
1. Donations made to the Gimme 5 project are segregated from all other donations to ensure that they are not used for any other purpose.
2. When donating to the Gimme 5 project please specify in your donation that the funds are to be used for Gimme 5.
Gimme 5!! Direct Debit Application Help us raise money for Mooseheart and Moosehaven by enrolling in our Direct Debit program. How does this program help? Processing a direct debit costs Moose Charities significantly less than processing a check. Of course, we value all donations but the more we save the more we can offer to our children. Best of all this service is completely free to you and can be cancelled at any time. You are in total control and you are making a huge difference in the lives of those who the Moose have promised to care for. Thank you for your generosity. Applying for Direct Debit is as easy as 1, 2, 3: 1) Complete and sign this Direct Debit Application. 2) Return it with a blank check marked “VOID” to: Moose Charities, Inc 155 S. International Dr. ; Mooseheart, IL 60539-1100 3) You will receive a letter from Moose Charities confirming that your Direct Debit Application has been received. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your enrollment to be processed.

"GIMME FIVE" -- What Is It? Nothing More, or Less, Than A Simple Plan to Help Ensure The Future of Mooseheart and Moosehaven
That's the new "GIMME FIVE" program -- it's really nothing more than that. But it's also nothing less than this: If anything close to the entire membership of the Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose were to do just that much . . . every day . . . for five years . . . it could ensure the financial future of Mooseheart Child City & School in Illinois, and of our Moosehaven retirement community in Florida -- without having to keep coming to Moose members every year to ask for more. How can this be? Remember the wisdom of our Enrollment Ritual: "A burden heavy to one is borne lightly by many." Then, do the math: We honestly believe that very, very few of our nearly 1.3 million Moose men and women would find it a hardship to set aside a nickel in the morning, and a nickel at night, for Mooseheart and Moosehaven. But let's be conservative and say that only 1 million can or will do so. For each of those caring members, then: Five cents in the morning, five cents in the evening is ten cents a day -- or $36.50 a year. That amount multiplied by 1 million members . . .is $36.5 million per year. After five years, by the end of 2012, that could be $182.5 million -- before accumulating investment interest is added in. All of this from five cents in the morning and five cents in the evening.
It's that simple -- but participating in "Gimme Five" can be even simpler: Instead of trying to remember to physically set aside a nickel in the morning and a nickel in the evening from now through 2012, you can...-- Mail Moose Charities a check for your annual "Gimme Five" contribution of $36.50, or all five years at once for $182.50, to Moose Charities, 155 S. As you do, know that all contributions to the Gimme Five Program are KEPT SEPARATE from any other donations -- ensuring that they are not used for any other purpose. And because Moose Charities is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 charity. YOUR ENTIRE CONTRIBUTION IS 100% TAX-DEDUCTIBLE. If EVERY Moose participates in the Gimme Five program, we can reach a goal for which our fraternity has struggled for more than 90 years -- financial security for Mooseheart and Moosehaven. We have expressed our pride in these two great Moose humanitarian creations for decades -- and our members have told us, loudly and clearly, that they want to keep these two campuses healthy and operating well into the future. Who should contribute to Gimme Five? Every member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Women of the Moose is urged to contribute.
